what do you say chojiro?

Well, I did keep a whole huge lot of 100 shares <ggg>, just in case she does decide to move. I was able to lock in a small profit, and keep the 100 shares, courtesy of the casino, so thats what I did. I figure I'll wait it out and see how everything turns out. If she does go under, I at least am not losing anything, and if she goes up, I've got that huge lot of 100 shares <ggg> to ride higher. If things look good with sebl, but sector or economy gets weak, I may add more at lower prices, if we get them, and if the story on sebl looks compelling. Good luck to all.....also holding some beas with average cost of $6 a share...watching her slowly drop. I almost sold at $12, but love the company and the charts were showing a breakout. I should have seen her unable to break thru old 52 week highs and sold, but am still holding. Will look to add more beas at 5ish if she gets that far down.

Agreed. You made the case more quantitatively than I did. Point is, SEBL still does about $1.4B/yr (run-rate) and is profitable.

On a Gaap basis, Sebl lost 38 million dollars over the most recently reported 4th quarter, and on a GAAP basis, Sebl lost 35.7 million over the last fiscal year. Of course on a GAAP basis to include stock option expense SEBL lost much more.

For the first quarter, SEBL's revenues are supposed to come in around 335 mill, a decline of 15% from last quarter and a decline of approximately 30% from a year ago revs. I am not sure whether SEBL will eke out a GAAP profit or not this quarter. I believe SEBL is only looking at one penny per share pro forma earnings, but I am not sure, because the articles concerning SEBL's recent warning provide conflicting information. Of course on a GAAP basis to include stock option expense, SEBL's first quarter earnings would be a big loss.

Stk may not double every year, but I'm willing to bet chojiro that SEBL will be trading at these levels or higher between now and the end of the year.

You still want to do this Mucker?

If so, works for me.
we'll take the closing price on 4/11.
I think that's $7.89 so you already have the advantage!
What ever shall we wager?

P.S> I've been thinking of adding to my short position here but not ruling out a short lived spike on earnings.
so I'm waiting for that.

EDIT in: SEBL closed on 4/11 at $7.89 table.finance.yahoo.com

So the bet would be higher/lower than that.
A close of $7.89 or better the last day of trading of '03, you win.
