My point is that the world seems to be suspicious of the US intentions in Iraq, but the US has done little to publicize how it is leading the charge to rebuild Afghanistan, and the progress they have made so far. This may help us to believe their current "liberation" claims for Iraq.

If the Taliban could win their war on drugs, why can't the US? It seems to be a war they don't want to win; just wage endlessly. For some reason they don't seem to want to win this one.

My point is that the US govt is a master of smoke and mirrors, and you have to watch the money flow to certain power centres to understand the trickery of their publicly released motives for what they do.

Just like playing the US stock markets, or do you just believe what Wall Street tells you, and the govt's economic numbers that are constantly revised after the fact, or spun positively by Larry Kudlow and the other "experts" without track records.
