I agree that North Korea may be a serious problem. Unless China does something soon we may be headed for a serious clash. Our allies in the region will have to be consulted before any action occurs. They, after all, will be the immediate recipients of the North Korean war machine.

Iran is a more complicated situation. They have complied with most nuclear protocols of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Most, but not all.

They have thus far rejected IAEA's Program 93+2's which would result in more stringent protocols and controls to prevent the development of nuclear weapons.

Given the nature of recent events I believe there will be additional efforts to get Iran to comply with the additional protocols. If they do not your guess is as good as mine as to what might happen after that.
