Yes, sorry, they sure must be overwhelmed.
Correct me if I am wrong, doesn't the US forces have specialized search and rescue teams?
Shouldn't the sites to be inspected be secured and overhanded to specialized warfare teams?
Shouldn't an invading force conform to Geneva Conventions and provide basic security and protection to civilians?
Of course, I can be completely wrong.

What I am whitnessing is a country groundleveled by looting rampages at a lower cost (and better PR image) than carpet bombing.
Overwhelmed? Come on, that is the decoy.

US troops are overwhelmed at securing the oil fields and oil facilities. That's the primary objective.

Utilities, like water, electricity, hospitals and supplies come second or third on the list of priorities. Judging by what we are seeing the US had no plans on how to secure anything else other than the oil wells and oil facilities.

There is the real looting.
