Left leaning media has become more radical & more left leaning as President Bush's popularity has increased. I watched Chris Mathews show on MSNBC yesterday. They had hyped this alleged focus group that was representative of America. It believe they had 20 people in the group. This group sounded like most folks on this thread (TP & his gang). Those against President Bush were loudly spouting all manner of misperceptions, misstatements, blatant distortions & spurious allegations. This group was clearly the majority of this alleged representation of America. They regularly interrupted the few in this group who supported President Bush. They shouted their POV as though talking was not allowed. Chris Mathews leans to the left. However, he was not the facilitator & apparently had nothing to do with the selection of this alleged representation of America. The facilitator allowed the Bush bashers to run amok, interrupt & quash the rebuttals of those who support Bush. His participation in this debacle was obvious. At some point well into this show, Chris asked the facilitator if this group was representative of America. The facilitator tried repeatedly to claim that it was. Chris asked a number of very revealing questions though. Among them, he asked how many in this group voted for President Bush (should have been 50% or 10). I believe that seven did. He asked how many voted for Gore (should have been 10). Fourteen responded affirmatively. Chris asked how many supported Bush in the war (should have been 82% or at least 16). Only 12 acknowledged support. Chris noted the results of the election & recent poll results. He said that the responses from this alleged group representative of America were no where near the results of the election or widely accepted polling data. The facilitator, shouting above the rancorous naysayers continued to justify that this group was representative of America. This is but one example of how the left still operates, even in the media. So yes, a deluded minority not only thinks America will let them run the country again, they have a left leaning media supporting them. JMHO
