"alleged mistakes? which one was alleged? those are facts "

Got a little more done. Based on my search thus far, I'm
still inclined to say that it is more accurate to say they
are allegations presented as facts. While some of them may
indeed be facts, your article does not substantiate these
allegations. It merely cites sources without documenting
the actual source material in any manner. It simply cites
the alleged sources names & gives dates or a range of dates.

I switched form researching the sources for their context
or political POV to trying to verify the allegations.

February 1982. Despite objections from Congress, President Reagan removes Iraq from its list of known terrorist countries. (1)

I cannot verify the first one by the Washington Post on
their site, through google or anywhere. At best so far, I
have been linked to additional reprints of your article.

And that verifies absolutely nothing.

December 1982. Hughes Aircraft ships 60 Defender helicopters to Iraq. (9)

Although I cannot substantiate this, what does it establish
even if it is true?
