If all you have is a hammer, then every problem looks like a nail. If all you have is precision-bombing ability then everything looks like a target. Bush, Rumsfeld et al started this mess. Now let's see how they will deal with it. Or maybe they will create another mess in Syria or Iran and make the people forget about the mess in Iraq just like what people are doing with the mess in Afghanistan -- just glossing over it.
