Did Albright ever inspect those basements?

No, he talked to one of the embedded journalists today and the details led him to the conclusion there was nothing new. He said, I paraphrase, the basements were 'out of the way' but not hidden.

He was the most informed person I have heard and he made a compelling argument. Until I hear more data, I am going with Albright. Until Rumsfeld stands up and publicly declares a WMD discovery, I will remain skeptical of all reports.

You will not be clear as long as somebody is saying something you don't want to hear. One reporter screws up a story, and you, along with similarly "objective" sources like fairandbalanced Fox News, WorldNetDaily, JINSA and the warblogosphere, will never let go of it.

Blix didn't have anything to do with nuclear matters in the first place. That was ElBaradei. I'm sure you're perfectly willing to badmouth him along with Blix, though. He never got with the propaganda program, he must be bad.
