The vets understand what you chickenhawks dont. Chuck Hagel (with McCain, the GOP's only combat vet) was just on CNN sounding amazingly critical of Bush's lack of planning for the aftermath of the war. He preicted the UN would have to be the ones to restore order. The UN. Wont Bushies embrace that, huh? And Hagel said it correctly, not a single American does not totally admire and respect the troops. Not even those "dern liberals" who want to retain veterans benefits that the right-wing talkshows attack in exaggerated fashion 24 hous a day. Unfortunately for the Bushies liberals will have nothing to do with deciding the 2004 elections. And there is always a backlash against such over-attacking. But Bush is way overdue to be taken to the woodshed.
