Neither Buchanan or Nader will run in 2004. Both failed to get 5% of the national vote and their parties lost their ballot slots. Nadar got 2% of the vote and Buchanan 1%. Those numbers will not be material to 2004. Bush's margin of victory will far exceed 3% in 2004.

Nader decided 2000.

Arguably, the margin of victory in Florida came from those little old ladies that accidently voted for Buchanan. God bless them, they may have saved our country from Al Gore. Of course, their votes would not have mattered if the networks had not called the election early (and wrongly) and killed voter turnout on the Panhandle.
