However, I still think Rumsfield's response is disgusting.

He was my hero today. Authentic, straight forward, clear, no menace. A roll model for the world!

Gary, guess it's all in how you take it.

What I heard Rumsfeld say was that he was disappointed it was happening; I think you'd agree, I do.

He also said he believed it was a natural human reaction to years of oppression being lifted; perhaps you agree, I do.

He then stated that the media showing the same thing over and over and over ... only perpetuates it and makes it appear bigger than life.

Since I have now seen the clip of the car with the 2 vases in the trunk over 50 times now, I agree. Also, not once yesterday, did CNN actually state that clip was 2 days old.

Runsfeld, whom you apparently detest, nailed the media on their responsibility to the truth, fairness and balance.

Perhaps CNN should have mentioned 49 times that it was a dated clip.

But, that doesn't sell CNN very well.
