I think you underestimate the difficulties here. Yes, we've already heard from the die-hard Zionists; offer them half the pie and peace and they spit in your face. The voice that is missing is that of the die-hard Islamists. They would much rather die hard than giving up fighting Israelis. And the chance of such a proposal ever getting past the American Jewish Lobby is zilch. They've boiled political candidates in oil for much less than that. OTOH, I could be wrong. I remember I once believed the Northern Ireland mess could not be solvd short of a massive slaughter.
