Gary, some thoughts about the new economy the world faces as the Pax Americana is instituted.

The US will decide whose goods it will buy.

The US will buy only from those countries which support its war aims and at a price which it will determine.

Money earned by such "friendly" countries from the sale of goods to the US has to be invested in US bonds or stocks --- as a further token of "friendship".

This will, by force, support the USD and also the American stock/bond market. Clearly, interest rates will remain at rock-bottom levels. The increase in "paper" assets will be anti-deflationary while the simultaneous support of the dollar as result of foreign currency inflow ensures that gold investments will be unattractive.

Any nations which protest against this arrangement or who do not support the US war aims will face "regime change", the institution of "democracy" or some similar "consequences".

And, it looks like France will be the first country to be dealt with in this way.
