sure they did, after raping and pillaging the oil and building settlements there. of course we had to bribe both israel and egypt with billions of dollars in aid to play nice and make peace. israel is still far larger than the original 5,893 square miles that the UN partition plan allotted to them. israel gave the sinai back, but don't forget, in addition to the west bank, gaza, the golan heights, etc. they also stole a "security belt" in southern lebanon after invading and destroying that country. a little here, a little there.

of course the arabs got screwed from the very start. even the 5,893 square miles given to the jews was over 56% of the land even though arabs outnumbered jews in palestine 2 to 1. no wonder the arabs rejected the deal. they were the majority population but they were given the minority portion of the land.

it was a jew deal!
