Yes, of course.

I didn't mention 'traditional fraud' like Enron or HealthSouth, et al.

I only wrote about three contributors to the bubble:

1) 'new-fangled', Microsoft pioneered, stock options equity watering scams and tax dodges.

2) Pension plan chicanery with America's and Europe's old-line companies (their way of getting in on the game).

3) Massive, unprecedented, world-wide Y2K cash infusion (and then: withdrawal, which pricked the bubble.)

Naturally, you are correct, all the 'taditional frauds' out there contributed to the mania... and now greatly contribute to the continuing malaise, because they sap the public's confidence in our institutions and markets.
