your administration still does what it is doing which is to rebuild Iraq. So why not do the same to Africa if it is the right things to do ?

Was the US formally appointed as the "cops of the world" ?

Whether they scream or not doesn't matter as your administration still does what it is doing which is to rebuild Iraq. So why not do the same to Africa if it is the right things to do ?

Indeed, why not? Because to some people, America is a White Man's empire, and anything even remotely appearing to be Whitey meddling in Africa will be stamped so hard with "racist colonialist imperialist aggression", it will make ALL our heads spin.

For one thing, the left in this country would never allow us to do it. Just too "Racist." For another, there is no National will to do it. Frankly, Gary, no one here gives a damn anymore. Just too many failures over there. No one wants to get involved in another failure. We are willing to throw medicine and food at the problem to keep the NGO's off our back, but we won't go in there and run things.

Gary, your anti-US rant is getting long in the tooth ...

So why not do the same to Africa if it is the right things to do ?

Please direct your concerns to the U.N.; you will surely get swift action !

Thanks ... JB

Perhaps we should go into Canada first. They seem to be up rising against their prime minister.. Perhaps we could help them.. If successful take on bigger challenges. g

Gary,

There is no national security interest in Congo for the US, so there is no reason for the US to get involved.
