What I meant is how to handle the political aftermath or plan after the war for Iraq. Everything I have seen convinces me that General Franks has thought through every contigency. His ability to respond to events has been extraordinary. I am confident he will do as well with restoring basic civil order. Most of the south is already mostly civil again. A 3 - 4 day period of looting doesn't bother me at all. I thought it would happen and it did happen. I expect at least 6 months of sectarian violence. I expect a year of terror attacks on US soldiers. Paul
