Yes, it is a genuine tragedy, not just for the Iraqi people, but for mankind. Of course this was not INTENDED by the warriors. They didn't do the looting. US soldiers were quoted as saying that they couldn't do police work when they were still being shot at. A war was still going on. But it is precisely the standard by-product of WAR, which by definition DESTROYS. And we will see over the forthcoming years just how much destruction this war will bring to the INITIATORS of the war. Anybody ever heard of the law of KARMA? Namaste! Jim
