According to report on TV last night, the Afghans are still waiting for most of the funds and help promised. So is New York City. So is Homeland Security. Meanwhile many fire-fighters and cops are being laid off, not hired. I know funds are tight due to the terrible Bush economy but he should not keep promising things he's not going to deliver.

For instance in 2000 he promised veterans full protections and now wants to slash their health benefits just as our troops are coming home (if they ever do come home). This is just one of a hundred examples. However, Bush remains steadfast about delivering the very rich their estate tax cuts and Big Oil 19-33 billion in direct tax-payer subsidies, not to mention giving them MOST OF the Iraqi fields. If you dont contribute heavily to Bush dont expect any help. That's the bottomline.
