Which excuse do you prefer ? or February 26th, 2003 I have trouble pinning down which excuse the writer is talking about. At that point in time the primary justification appeared to be defiance of the UN and the possession of WMD's, this has since changed to "democracy and liberation". Since the writer was not clear we will have to decide for ourselves which "flimsiest" excuse he was referring to. Which excuse have you chosen as the ultimate cause for the war ?
