Conditions in Afghanistan

The eyewitness account of the situation in Afghanistan, post regime change, is not refuted by dismissal. I pointed out that account as a comment on the viability of pessimism at this point in regards to the ultimate disposition of the war in Iraq. The writers politics are not as important as the description of current affairs. The ongoing situation in Afghanistan does not bode well for the Iraqi people, regardless of a person's political stance.

The UN is not responsible for the current situation in Afghanistan. The problems that gave rise to the 9/11 attack have not been dealt with.
