Another document, dated March 12, 2002, appears to confirm that Saddam had developed, or was developing nuclear weapons. The Russians warned Baghdad that if it refused to comply with the United Nations then that would give the United States "a cause to destroy any nuclear weapons". Pearly, this is worst than I expected. If this stuff is true, we are in for a very tough year.

Revealed: Russia spied on Blair for Saddam This is just too damning to be believed. It would wrap the case up for the Neocons in a pretty little bow, ending any concept that the war wasn't justified (nukes) or that some UN route was possible (Putin spying on Blair, support Saddam). I think I am going to have to work harder before I get to do my Happy Hamster Dance. I'm not even catholic but I think I will have to suffer a bit before my sins are washed away. Why would Putin do this? He loves the smell of MOAB in the morning? Paul
