Turkey is not going to fight the 101st Airborne Division for Kirkuk...the US will secure some of Turkey's interests in Northern Iraq. I say 'some' because Turkey is not in the strongest position to leverage us just now. Maybe they should have thought of that before they voted not to let our troops use their bases.
