NEAR TOPIC- (Which I believe this debate to be.) Ed, Have to to take an early AM moment to thank you for stating so eloquently why, despite having reached 60 years of age and having a bit more to 'conserve' than I did in my youth, I remain a Liberal. (Rush Limbaugh and his ilk aren't going to take a great word out of my vocabulary.) The world will be a better place for Hussein's demise. To that end, I think we belong in Iraq, and applaud the efforts and risk being taken by coalition forces there. The price we and the world will pay for our actions remain to be seen. The precedent set by our mostly unilateral action, and the attitude that "We're right and anyone with a differing opinion is suspect." is just scarier than hell. If I'm wrong, and there is a god, maybe it'll send us some statesmen... Lee
