I had friends who lived in South Africa. They've left. I would be interested in your perspective on SA.

We all hoped for the best for SA when apartheid was dismantled. The best did not materialize. Now I think the international community (that small part of it that cares about Africa) is simply hoping that the worst does not happen.

The stature of SA seems to be slipping away. Do you think there is much chance of it stabilizing?
