You can't blame this economy on Clinton. It's Bush's doing where we are now with the economy. Clinton may have had a Democrat's economy but it was running well. It's about the only thing he did right. I don't fight all battles along party lines like most here. I give the credit and blame where it is deserved. I am a Republican but I am more independent since Reagan didn't keep his promise to limit government. Reagan opened the doors to more and more deficit spending and left office with the country in far worse shape financially. Now Bush is saying so what to deficit spending and proposing a 750 billion dollar tax cut and to hell with the deficit. The deficit grows more under Republican rule than the Democrats. Those are the facts. And that should be no surprise. Because the bankers are the rich friends of the Republicans. And because of how the deficit spending mechanism works the bankers are the ones who reap the rewards for deficit spending. Deficit spending is another boon for the rich so it's hard for Republicans to be against it as they used to espouse they were. Not anymore!!
