If you recall our private discussion about a month ago, that is exactly what I said will be the next target. However, I am still standing by my opinion that before Bush starts invading (or subverting) Syria, he needs a fair measure of success in Iraq. I find it unlikely that such gains will come in easily. This may deter or delay action against Syria long enough for Bush to be out of office.

Why?

If it was considered unpatriotic to criticize him during the invasion of Iraq, wouldn't it be even less patriotic, while we are invading Syria, to vote against him ?
