The left-wing is about 15% of the nation now. Moderates are about 50%, the right-wing Bushies 35%. Most of the democrats are moderates now and about 1/4 of Republicans plus most independants.

You're living in the past if you fear the left-wing. They may make noise but they cannot deliver a single state in 2004. If Howard Dean were nominated he'd get about what Dukakis got and that's about it. Even though Dean is a fine man, I admit.

The right-wing though despite being only about one third of the country is trying to, and almost succeeding in one-party rule. Tyranny of the very vocal minority due to their control of talk radio and the big money behind them

Just because people support the war doesn't mean they're right-wing or will vote for Bush. Polls have varried between 38% and 51% who say they will vote for Bush. But remember Bush has competition yet. And no, Kerry is not a left-winger. Sorry.
