For growth, I am investing in early stage private companies.

I don't know what kind of valuations you are getting, but the public market is cheaper than private equity in many cases now, I've never seen that before in all my years in tech. This is if you net out the cash at the public companies who probably shouldn't be public (bubble companies who aren't profitable).

I don't know if its still true but last year I looked at plumtree which is a small, profitable corporate portal company. They were cheaper on the public market than some counterpart private companies in the same space.
