The militarisation of aid puts at huge risk the unarmed NGO workers, by blurring the distinction between belligerents and neutrals .... it serves military propaganda very well to appear benevolent at times, yes, but it will get the true aid workers killed .... they are already under deep suspicion of complicity with foreign forces in many cases, they get shot or worse all the time, anything that taints perception of their neutrality will get more of them harmed, and fast
