I think avoiding the airlines, even my fav, LUV, makes sense. The new realities of the airline industries, with companies coming out of BK with no debt, and the rush of low-cost airlines (which i don't think will work for the giants), makes the whole arena cloudy fo rme. I would not short oil companies. we are seeing many of the big companies trading at prices equivelant to when oil was 15-20/barrel (look at BP for one). I think the most intriquing sector will be the natural gas companies, those with large US and north american reserves. I think NG has moved to a new pricing level of 4-7/mbtu vs the old 2.50 to 5. larry
