Gustave, I'm glad to see that you can use humor to come to grips with your previous belief that Iraqi gratitude to the coalition forces was staged. Last time we spoke you seemed to be in a rage over the idea that Americans and British have done something sincerely nice for Iraqis. It's a healthy sign that you have finally accepted this. Your previous view was so far from reality that you reminded me of being like so many Arabs that listened to and passionately believed every word uttered by Muhammud al-Saheed, the Iraqi Minister of Misinformation, or the goofballs at al-Jazeera. No hard feelings, ok? I can certainly understand your anger and sense of betrayal at being lied to by the very people whom you respected and defended on these message boards. We all make mistakes.
