The Kern River pipeline expansion will be kicking on in a coupla weeks, see biz.yahoo.com for background. This will add almost a BCF a day to the supply, then you got this wall of gas about to hit us from Canada from the massive amount of drilling they did over the winter. Should be interesting to see if we're still looking at $5.50 gas in the next month or so. On rig capacity, the proof of the pudding will be how much day rates increase as the rig count goes up. If they don't increase as much as the last boom, this would be strong indirect evidence that there is more rig availability than in the last boom. Stay tuned for the 1Q earnings reports I guess.
