The Mullahs take over. To be expected. There is no law of nature that says this has to turn bad. TWT. Fascinating post, Bill. But you are way over your two article post limit for the day. I love these reportial pieces and could do without the Hanson, Weekly Standard, etc. Perhaps we could persuade Ken that reportial pieces should not be subject to a two post limit; only these editorial pieces like Weekly Standard, et al.

With building blocks like that, a magnificant edifice of Freedom will go up in no time. Maybe he can be invited to Washington for a photo-op with the President. Bush2 could call him the "moral equivalent of the Founding Fathers", as Reagan called the Afghan Islamists in the 1980s (when they were temporarily on our side).
