your reply only proves my point, in loud words
pretty sad and shallow really, Tim (sorry to say)

I said:
"just challenged on the risks and fallout of war"

comment:
the risk is with Europe's powers now, as the Versailles Part II is repeated
you seem totally unaware of the risks, allowing emotion to rule precisely when the error is being made now

you say:
"Phuck France, Germany & Russia. They should end up on the
short end of the stick. They should have looked at the
risks of their dirty dealings a little closer. I believe
that evil gets it's just deserts...... sooner or later."

you walk headlong into the political trap
congratulations, my warmonger friend
do you realize that when major European powers are on the short end of the stick, they will be in opposition to USA?
do you realize that the USA requires $3 billion per day in foreign investment in order to maintain your lifestyle?
do you realize that as tensions rise with our European allies, tensions will rise all thru the MidEast?
incredibly shallow
we need the wealth and support of Germany, France, and Russia
they have been in bed with the devil, for sure

of course you mean "its just desserts"
you arent among the American illiterate, are you?

now, in your hasty emotionally depleted state, are you going to urge the Versailles errors?
maybe you dont know what they are

this is all very bothersome to me, that so many Americans harbor ill feelings, express harsh emotions, when our vulnerabilities are exposed to nasty consequences, and our ignorance of geopolitics opens up new exposures and risks at a critical time

are you aware of the Versailles Treaty after WWI?
put your silly emotions aside and now begin to use your expansive brain

Yes. Don't forget too: "No good deed goes unpunished."
When was the last time terrorists flew a 737 into a highrise in Stockholm? Zurich? Rio? No one cares to ask the primary question: Why don't we mind our own business? If we had always made a policy of sticking to our own knitting, a lot of unfortunate events would likely never have occurred. It is expensive of american lives to be the world's policeman/bully. Here at home, we don't encourage the biggest kid to be a bully just because he can.

"Mom, Billy beat me up on the way home from school today!"

"Oh Johnnie, are you all right? Why in the world did he do that?"

"He said it's because someday I might walk home with a baseball bat and hit him with it!"

France, Germany, Russia...fuckem. Britain, Spain, Poland...them too. I'm an equal opportunity disdainer.
