Stealth aircraft returning, F-117s and B-2s

I would expect most B-52s to be Repositioned also.

2 more carriers to leave, Kitty Hawk and Constelation.

Moving goalposts : yes, it's pretty extreme, except on Fox, which has it's own biases.

I believe the info in WMD is being managed - There was a report from embedded NPR reporter on Al Samoud missles with Sarin, reports of artilery shells with gas, underground stuff at nuke complex, etc.

One guess (from a friend of mine) is Colin Powells reveals all this stuff at the UN, for maximum dramatic effect.

Pentagons fear would be reports offering big wads of cash to be shown the WMDs, then having the story come out piecemeal.

If I were a report in Iraq, I would be doing that....

If I remember correctly, one of those carriers had already finished a tour in the area and was headed home when things really heated up. Turning around and going back is a tough break when you're 18 - 20 years old. I still remember how long a 6 month cruise can be at that age, even when there is no war to worry about. I'm a big fan of our guys and gals in the military.
