Killing to protect your life or the life of another is not against God's rule. God sent his children into battle more than once. And it was not always after they had the snot beat out of them. War is a tool that often must take the offensive in order to protect a people.

Dismembering the unborn child does nothing productive. It most often is just a matter of convenience. Sickening.
