And, of course, you can cite even a SINGLE war settled by the UN in it's 60+ years.

An inquiring Public wants to know...

Let's see:

Korea? Nope. Ike threatened to drop the bomb on N Korea.

Sinai-1967? Nope. Israeli tanks brought peace.

Yom Kippur-1973? Nope. Nixon threatened to drop the bomb on the Soviet Union if they didn't butt out.

Vietnam? Nope. US bombs did it again.

Iraq-2003? Nope. The UN CAUSED the war by defending Saddam/Al Quaeda.

See the pattern, Numbnuts? Or are you just too far GONE into the mythology of left wing historical revisionism to ever relate to the REAL world again.

My guess is that's precisely your problem...

Bushies have declared war on the UN. So silly.

Bush got his quick military victory but still loses half the argument. No WMD's yet (though some are probably around somewhere) or AL Qaida ties.

They expected the UN to back them despite the fact they gave phony reasons. I thin our administration should be a lot more honest. That's my biggest beef with Bushies. They lie.

News today: the "chemical weapons drums" found in South Iraq was indeed pesticide. Army confirms. Didn't stop the Bushies though from spreading the story it was Sarin. The Houston chronicle and Knight-Ridder even published the story. Egg on their faces. Only trust the wire services, then double check that as well.
