Microcaps are about the only place for upward volatility these days. I'm avoiding derivitive puts/calls, due to the uncertainty of "event risk" of many kinds.

Well-run microcap tech co's in the right market niches look like a better bet to grow out of an event risk, like KVHI or BLTI. Terrorism won't reduce their markets, and neither will peace and prosperity.

The only real risk is competitive risk, imo.
