Perhaps. But, why the hell did we support Saddam's crazy regime in the first place? That @#$% has been going on for years in Iraq and we did nothing to stop it, by ending our trade relations with such a brutal regime during the 1980s. Also, we've supported dictators just as brutal as Saddam, like the Chinese, The Shah of Iran, Marcos, Pinochet. We hardly have a moral leg to stand on by toppling Saddam's regime. Perhaps it was the right thing to do and is a good place to start. But, I'd like to see us do more regarding human rights like threatening China with trade sanctions if they don't clean up their act.
