I love our constitution and many of the good principles that our country was founded upon. While there is much ignorance as to what makes for freedom, I am an optimist and believe there are many people in the USA intent on doing good and preserving liberty, to the extent they can understand what good and liberty are. There are still a few folks out there fighting and fighting hard for the freedoms that the "founding fathers" sought to incorporate in our government, even though much has been swept aside. That makes me feel good. But as to whether or not I should feel GREAT or PROUD -- what right have I? I didn't choose to be born here -- that was God's grace. I am not better than some other individual in another country, simply because I happen to have been born here.
