But what Marx ghost has to to in the British Museum ? Repulse Yanks ? Naaah, ol' Karl wrote Das Kapital at the British Museum, surrounding by a lot--and I mean a lot--of stuff the Brits stole, much of it priceless stuff from Greece. I've often wondered whether his rantings and ravings were somehow influenced by the class conscious Brits and all the stolen treasure they stored at the Museum.
