You will, no doubt, Karen, be happy to learn, but certainly not surprised to learn, that my scrambling around the tube for decent news sources has produced a change of viewing habits in my family. Now we search the channels for the BBC. Far better international news than any US network. Stuff tonight on AIDS in Africa, progress or lack thereof in Afghanistan, in addition to the usual Iraqi stuff.

And my wife and I are, apparently in good company.
