Yea, but I think dems have been weak at making their case lately. How could Gore lose? Best economy in 50 years! Clinton pissed that many people off? Bush was a nobody, called a daddy's boy, dumb, didn't command his own native language, etc, etc, and still won? That's got to be the dems not making a good case for themselves, seems to me. Gotta give the people a reason to vote for you, not against the other guy. And not really helping themselves now with the Iraqi war, either.

Tony Blair is addressing the British House of Commons, as he does regularly on CSpan (I think). That is worth watching. He just addressed the "oil conspiracy" as he calls it. It gives us a great perspective on our own internal politics to watch those question and answer sessions. I wish we had something like it here, and that Blair spoke here regularly as well.
