Well, you've got to make the best of life one way or another. If bars do it for you, great. If making a principled stand against abortion does it for you, then more power to you. Whatever floats your boat.

Whiskey...and possibly women are likely to worsen balboa's depression. My guess is that he enjoyed the Net bubble engineered by Slick et al, and now he's still suffering from the hangover. It was the mother of all bubbles, IMO.
