anybody have an explanation for the recent money flow numbers? there is, like, four times as much money coming out of money markets as is going into debt/equity. (yes, gold stocks would be included in that, lol)

where is the rest going? are people tapping reserves? that seems hard to believe, what with FNM's booming refi biz.

Two of the hardest hit businesses are hotels & airlines. That, in turn, affects tourism & shopping. SARS is much worse than the regular flu, and I'd equate it with a pandemic version of influenza (one in which no existing antibodies helps).
