"Bush Should Be Impeached If He Invades Syria or Iran" Well, Eagleburger is 1/2 right. LOL! Bush and his League should be impeached immediately in any case. I don't think the Bush cabal has a choice any longer, they have to go to war globally, regardless of the consequences. Unless there's constant full-scale emergencies leading to martial law in the US, there's a danger their dirty deals will catch up with them and the lies unravel.

The fact is that the core Republican constituencies -- white men, rural people, small businessmen -- are being slowly but surely overtaken by a Democratic coalition of women, minorities, service workers and a new class of college-educated professionals, one more concerned with social justice and less likely to reflexively vote by tax bracket than the old doctor-lawyer-executive elite. In the post-industrial age, demography favors Democrats: The numbers of "Reagan Democrats" -- blue-collar workers who helped boost the GOP in key mid-Atlantic industrial states -- are shrinking, while the new professional class and the service class, which both skew Democratic, are growing.
