At least half that decline has occured in a flat market, though. Price doesn't need to move when sentiment does all the work.

Hi Terry!

I agree the rally could continue. Thus no shorts yet.
In November 2001 VIX crashed, too, only to reach a low months later.
NYSE NH-NL made a higher high after the market tops in March 2002 and early December 2002. That is one thing I would like to see again with the current rally.
Plenty of time to wait for confirmation of a top. I can´t get myself to enter any longs, however, except for daytrades. I think the environment is very dangerous. How many failed futures pumps did we have in the last few weeks. That is too much for me to stomach.
