<...definitely negative for the USD. Might be a good time to look at China and other emerging markets, especially with the SARS correction underway.>

Interesting they say the time to buy is when there is blood on the streets. Perhaps best of all when there is a hugely overblown monster epidemic which means death to all lifeforms running rampant through hysterical headlines and deadlines.

It could now become the GODCH portfolio with CHina being the forth parameter
Or perhaps the Gottcha portfolio

Where besides Jay Chen do we go for information on investing in China?

Russ, the CRB, money supply and China

Have to account for that money that is being printed somehow...going to other bubbles, indeed....Yes, long term bullish for Gold, but it hasn't been today...Took the opportunity when the metal was higher to lighten up MNG GSS and RANGY positions. The Monetary Base is also important to watch, and it unlike the Money Supply has been stagnant...

China - thanks Valutrader for the link to the new board....I'll be over there looking for ideas. I have found CHN to be a respectable way to play the better HK / China issues. The management of the fund has done some good picking. Currently have no position thinking the SARs virus has more impact to play....but it seems like just sub $16 recently was the place and time to reenter....missed that one.

Welcome observations about the COTs in Copper and Crude....Copper is up today as is Crude despite all the noise that the later would fall. Still think that's the probable course in this weaker demand season, but could be wrong, quite obviously. Notice Ivanhoe, perhaps as a China play and one on copper was a couple of ticks higher at last observation.
