I was initially going to say much the same thing you did but realized that John was calling what JB said bluster. Perhaps he didnt see the crude association Thomas made between Bush and Goebbels which set JB off in the first place. Mike@phineustbluster.com

Personal foul. I don't really have a problem with personal fouls as long as they accompany a substantive argument. I see those as getting carried away in the heat of the moment.

Definitely no argument needed. It's a common mistake of some who wish to speak for "Americans", who think the Bush folk are "America", and forget there are others. I consider calling that kind of "mistake" what it is a high moral calling. ;-) Well, perhaps not that high. But, definitely, well worth doing.
